What else do you incorporate into your daily routine? Vitamins, breathing exercises, stretching, meditation, supplements, green tea, the list is endless. Are we obsessed with retaining our youth or aging well? Does it matter if we can't do full lotus in headstand anymore or that we don't look like we did in our 20's in lycra? Do you look or feel your chronological age? Hong Kong has the highest life expectancy in the world yet on a per capita basis the population is not the healthiest.
This week I invite you to reflect on your routines and whether they are serving to maintain and foster your personal well being in such a way as to be sustainable. Remember 15 minutes of movement/day prevents 40% of chronic illnesses and in this case nothing does succeed like excess, rather find your perfect balance.
